- Eat Dinner as a Family at least 5 nights a week – Shows that the family comes first. Not your work, not the stuff you’re buying. If you’re not home with your kids it’s showing that they are second or third on your priorities.
- Take your kids to church weekly – It’s the idea that there is something out there bigger than you. If you respect this, then you’ll have respect for yourself and others. Family Mantra statement = This is what we stand for and believe in.
- Check your kids homework – Shows that intellectual development is just as important as the physical
- Demand the truth and get it – you will reduce your risk by ¼ if you are hands on and know where your kids are, monitor them, and be involved.
- Take your Kids on vacation for a week at a time and LEAVE your Blackberry – Don’t be distracted. Don’t let the kids be distracted when you are talking to them.
